Just when I could tell my stomach was actually shrinking to get used… - Saturnalia
Ignoring the World's Problems Since 18 A.D.
Just when I could tell my stomach was actually shrinking to get used to the lesser intake, I had to go out with my parents and grandparents for dinner.  I hardly ate half of it, and it made me sick. I thought I was going to explode. I wanted to purge it when I got home, but I've never done that... never been able to, but not for lack of trying. I laid down for a while until it settled, but of course I still feel terrible.

Ugh. And I was going to take pictures tonight, but I won't, obviously, because I'm all expanded again.

Ahh, family dinners. I love spending time with the fam but it's so much easier to restrict when you're eating alone.

I know you probably don't feel this way, but it's lucky you can't purge. I wouldn't make so many food-related mistakes if I didn't tell myself I could get away with it every time. I wish I could learn how to just sit still after eating something I "shouldn't have," and I'm working on it, but of course that's easier said than done...

I'm sure one meal won't affect you in the long run though, so even though I'm a day late, hang in there! And though I would have loved to see pictures of you, I totally understand how you were feeling. Even one extra bite of something can make you feel so different about how you look.

Thanks <3 That made me feel better.

I've never thought about the purging predicament that way... very enlightening, thank you.

And even though I was upset about eating, I do sincerely enjoy spending time with them, of course. Ha, sitting here with a burning, tight stomach makes me feel ashamed for making it sound like every aspect of the outing was terrible.

Pictures sometime soon. Perhaps this weekend.
